Can any members of this forum help me identify the make of this JAP JS8 2 stroke engined rotovator / tiller ?
I suspect its from the 1950's, but engine was made in 1940 if I've correctly interpreted the JAP serial numbers.
The main body of the tiller bares the serial number 4 / 1924.
Thank you in advance for any help received in this matter.

Thats a shay rotogardener, originally would have had a 120cc shay engine on it, been replaced at some time by the looks of it.
